Scott started in theatre
in the mid 80's doing several different community theatre projects.
In 1987 he graduated from Medina Senior High School and proceeded to
the University of Akron to study theatre, mainly lighting design and
technology. While in Ohio, he proceeded to work for several different
theatre companies in the area including The Cleveland Playhouse, The
Kenley Players, Cain Park Theatre, E.J. Thomas Hall, and The Civic Theatre.
In 1992 Scott left theatre for a few years. Scott
spent several years in the United States Navy stationed in Norfolk,
Virginia.
In the mid to late 90's Scott
moved on to the state of Virginia where he continued to work with other
regional theatres in the Hampton Roads area. Scott spent most of his
time with the Virginia Stage Company but found time to also do work
with the Virginia Opera and Virginia Musical Theatre.
The new millennium brought
in work all over America. Starting with the Dallas Theater Center in
Dallas, Tx then moving on to Rockwell LTD. in Media, Pa. Scott ended
up in Rhode Island being a stable fixture in the theatre scene for over
two years. While being a designer for Newgate Theatre Company,
The Sandra - Feinstein Gamm Theatre, and the Providence Black Repertory
